          CAUSTIC SODA - AC291 otherwise known as sodium hydroxide is used in many industries for a great variety of applications. Most commonly used to dissolve grease, oils, fats and protein based deposits from process equipment, storage tanks, stainless steel, bake ware and automotive parts. Caustic soda is an excellent drain cleaner and is also used to clean and etch aluminium.

On dilution with water the emulsion breaks allowing the oil and water layers to separate fro skimming off and water recycling respectively.
