The reason the Rinse Tube requires more frequent changing is that the rubber looses its elasticity and the peristaltic action it relies on to draw chemical up ceases to work.Â
Conversely the rinse tube on the detergent side does not loose its elasticity rather it wears thin and must be changed before it becomes compromised from continual rolling action (typically around 3 years depending on use).
This consumable part is the most common reason your dispenser may not be dispensing chemicals. These wear parts must be changed semi-frequently and are very easy to change. The Nitro squeeze tubes are identical on both sides of the machine.
As a rule of thumb the tube dispensing the Rinse Aid (right hand side of Nitro machine) requires changing ever 6 to 12 months and the tube dispensing the Detergent requires changing every 12 to 24 months.
No tools are required to replace a squeeze tube.
