ACID DETERGENT AC580 is a detergent blend of acids formulated for cleaning and brightening of aluminum and stainless steel. ACID DETERGENT AC580 also effectively removes rail and iron ore dust from vessels, marine equipment, structures, vehicles and machinery, and is an excellent cleaner of bore water stains.

Use Recommendations

ACID DETERGENT AC580 may be used neat, or diluted with up to 10 parts of water. We recommend a dilution rate of 1 part of ACID DETERGENT AC580 to 5 parts of water initially; this solution can be diluted further or strengthened according to the extent of the contamination. Swab surface, working from the bottom upwards and keep wet evenly until clean. Flush with fresh water. Ensure that the surface is uniformly covered as uneven application may produce streaking.

Can this product remove red dust stains from paintwork on my vehicle?

Yes, AC580 can remove red dust stains safely from vehicle paintwork.

Red dust has stained the inside of my vehicles; can you use the acid detergent on carpets and plastic in the interior?

Yes, AC580 can be used on the inside of cars to remove red dust stains (we suggest starting with a very weak concentration and doing a test patch). Consult your reseller for more details.

What sort of damage can the Hydrofluoric Acid do to me at the concentration?

This product should be handled with care, especially when decanting. It contains less than 1% of HF which is only at an irritant level, however there are other acids in the product too that can cause burns if handled incorrectly.

Glisten – Car Shampoo & Shine

GLISTEN is a multi-purpose neutral based detergent suitable for the combined cleaning & shining of vehicles, floors, benches and many other hard surfaces. Commonly used in car wash applications as the main foaming brush cleaner as it provides a mild clean, high sudsing and leaves a good shine behind.

Use Recommendations

Dilute GLISTEN at 10 – 20 mls per litre (1 -2 %) of hot or cold water depending on the degree of contamination. Apply with a soft sponge, mop or broom, agitate then hose off with clean water.

This product when used with 40mls of ANTIFOAM per each 200ltrs of machine tank solution is suitable for use in floor scrubbing machines.

GLISTEN can also be applied by foaming units. If your company is a large user of cleaning chemicals ask your Able Westchem representative about free-on-loan equipment.

Mainwash Liquid – Non-Caustic Cleaner

MAINWASH LIQUID is a non-caustic, low streaking, liquid concentrate for use as truck & bus wash concentrate.

Use Recommendations

Use the solution at 1:5 to 1:50 with water for most cleaning applications. Rinse cleaned surfaces with potable water once cleaned.

WASH & WAX is a universal vehicle cleaning and polishing agent. Used as a maintenance cleaner, WASH & WAX will prolong the life of any painted or sealed finish, whether it be on a automobile, plane or vinyl floor. The combined cleaning and polishing action of WASH & WAX eliminates the dull, faded appearance of surfaces that tend to be continually washed with alkaline detergents.

Use Recommendations

WASH & WAX can be applied by foam applicators, cotton mop, continuous scrubbing machine or automatic floor maintenance machine, or by spray. For maintenance cleaning of floors or automobiles use dilute 1 part of WASH & WAX to 20 parts of water. This dilution may be strengthened if extremely dirty conditions are prevailing. For daily cleaning using an automatic floor maintenance machine, dilute 1 part of WASH & WAX to 60 parts of water. Again, stronger dilutions should be used if the conditions require it. For spray-buff cleaning, dilute 1 part WASH & WAX with 5 parts of water, spray onto floor surface and machine buff to the desired gloss

Zeus – Waterbased Degreaser

ZEUS is a non-dangerous heavy duty alkaline degreaser formulated for quick and easy removal of red dust, oils, greases, animal fats, starches, pertinacious soils, dirt, grime, from floors, walls, tyres, rims and equipment. Use Recommendations

ZEUS is a complete product for foam or manual cleaning of mine site equipment, factories, breweries, butcher shops, etc. and wherever heavy contamination is present. This product is quick breaking and is compatible with most water treatment plants and methods (vertical & plate interceptors. Uses as required. Ensure correct PPE is worn.
