ACID DETERGENT AC580 may be used neat, or diluted with up to 10 parts of water. We recommend a dilution rate of 1 part of ACID DETERGENT AC580 to 5 parts of water initially; this solution can be diluted further or strengthened according to the extent of the contamination. Swab surface, working from the bottom upwards and keep wet evenly until clean. Flush with fresh water. Ensure that the surface is uniformly covered as uneven application may produce streaking.

Can this product remove red dust stains from paintwork on my vehicle?

Yes, AC580 can remove red dust stains safely from vehicle paintwork.

Red dust has stained the inside of my vehicles; can you use the acid detergent on carpets and plastic in the interior?

Yes, AC580 can be used on the inside of cars to remove red dust stains (we suggest starting with a very weak concentration and doing a test patch). Consult your reseller for more details.

What sort of damage can the Hydrofluoric Acid do to me at the concentration?

This product should be handled with care, especially when decanting. It contains less than 1% of HF which is only at an irritant level, however there are other acids in the product too that can cause burns if handled incorrectly.

Use Recommendations

• Wash and dry the paintwork using a quality car or truck wash to remove road grime and grit.
• In a shaded area out of direct sunlight, apply a 20-cent size (20mm) dab to cloth and apply to the paintwork in an overlapping circular pattern.
• Finish sections of panel work in straight lines to ensure even coverage. Increase the pressure over any marks, scratches or dull patches.
• Do not apply to unpainted rubber or plastic trim.
• Allow the residue to dry to a dull film and then buff by hand using a soft lint free cloth.

Use FORMULA ONE with confidence as this product is compatible with most automatic vehicle washing systems and is biodegradable, phosphate free, non caustic, non toxic and septic & sewerage system safe.

FORMULA ONE dilution rates will vary from system to system to system. The follow rates are a guide in cold or hot water:

• Regular Automatic Cleaning in soft water: 1:300 to 1:600
• Regular Automatic Cleaning in hard water: 1:200 to 1:400
• Regular Hand Washing: 1:500 to 1:1000

ANTIFOAM is available for high foaming systems.

Dilute GLISTEN at 10 – 20 mls per litre (1 -2 %) of hot or cold water depending on the degree of contamination. Apply with a soft sponge, mop or broom, agitate then hose off with clean water.

This product when used with 40mls of ANTIFOAM per each 200ltrs of machine tank solution is suitable for use in floor scrubbing machines.

GLISTEN can also be applied by foaming units. If your company is a large user of cleaning chemicals ask your Able Westchem representative about free-on-loan equipment.

LIQUISEAL it is a safe and simple, puncture resistant sealant solution, used to combat the intrusion of such sharp and penetrating objects such as broken glass, nails, screws, metal objects, thereby eliminating the loss of tyre pressure through porous tyre casings, leaking valves, getting a slow puncture, or complete tyre deflation.

Use as received. The LIQUISEAL is first pumped into the tyre’s air cavity through its normal air inflation valve (often after removing the core or spraying it into the tire), where once all the air in that cavity has been replaced (Void-Free) by the tyre filling compound, is then taken up to the tyre’s recommended operating pressure.

When the liquid tyre filling compound is in a solid state, under the normal operating life of that tyre it will provide resistance to leaks, flats, sidewall damage and intrusions for a number of years.

• Very Small: Bicycles, Golf Carts, Wheelchairs, Ride on mowers = 125ml-250ml
• Small to Medium: Cars, Caravans, Trailer tyres = 500ml
• Large: 4wds tyres = 750ml
• Oversize: Trucks, Vans = 1,000ml +
• Calculation: Height of Tyre (cms) x Width of Tyre (cm) x 0.50 = Amount required in mls

For most washing applications use MAINWASH LIQUID CONCENTRATE as you would any other high alkaline external Truck or Car Wash Concentrate.

• Typical usage ratios for the diluted LIQUID CONCENTRATE are from 1:3 up to 1:35 with water depending on application.
• Typical touch less car wash systems should be set at 1:20 to 1:35.
• To use, simply foam, brush or spray the product on, allow some dwell time, agitate and/or blast off with plenty of water.
