CHLORMATIC is specifically designed for machine dishwashing and effective stain control in all machine cleaning operations involving dinnerware, glassware, silver and stainless steel cutlery.

It is preferable not to mix silver, stainless steel and aluminium in one wash operation, as soft metals could be attached by electrolytic action caused by dissimilar metals in solution.

Do not allow prolonged contact with aluminium and other soft metals if pitting and discolouration are to be avoided.

Concentration is varied according to water conditions, temperature and type of machine, but normally 1-2 grams per Litre of water in the wash tank is sufficient at wash temperature 60-70oC.

Wash solution can be prepared, manually, by filling the dishwasher with fresh water and adding the required amount of CHLORMATIC. Mix the product into solution completely by running the machine.

Use Recommendations

CHLORDET is caustic and is designed to only be used through a sealed dispensing systems supplied, installed and serviced by an authorised Able Westchem service technician. Typical in-use concentrations are between 1 to 2.5ml per litre of wash water operating at 65 degrees celsius.

Use Recommendations

Use concentrations vary according to water conditions, temperature, type of machine, and cleaning challenge. Normal use concentration of 1-2 grams per litre of water is sufficient at normal wash temperature of between 60-70 degrees celsius.

Commercial Machines

• 2 Scoops on start-up.
• 1 scoop every 2 to 3 cycles thereafter.

DRY & SHINE has a place beside every automatic dishwashing machine where hand drying dishes, crockery and cutlery is prohibitive. Automatically dispensed into the final rinse cycle to rapidly dry and leave no streaks. Saves time and labour and keeps the crew happy with a shiny plates and cutlery.

NOTE: For machines that do not have hot water sanitising we recommend the use of SANI DRY as a substitute to DRY & SHINE because SANI DRY contains an added leave-on-sanitizer.

NOTE: For glassware washing on dedicated glass washing machine use SPARKLE.

Dilution Recommendations

1. Use as received through automatic dosing pump.
2. Flow rate of the rinse cycle water should be check and dose rate set on the unit accordingly.
3. This product may also be manually dispensed into domestic dishwashing rinse reservoirs at machine manufacturers dosage recommendations.

Use Recommendations

JETAWAY is designed to be used via automatic dispensing systems only.  Have your technician to set your dispenser to 7 to 8 knight units on your dishwasher.  On Combi ovens please use manufacturers settings.

This product can also be used as a heavy duty soak bath chemical for de-staining coffe cups, plates ect when used at 1:10 with warm water.

RUST CONVERSION (Metal Priming & Preparation)

• Remove oil, grease & loose scale with a free rinsing water based alkaline degreaser such as PREDATOR, TRIPLE 2 or MULTISAFE.
• If necessary strip paint with paint stripper.
• Once surface is paint & free of loose scale dilute PHOSCLEAN 1:3 with potable water to make standard solution (330mls per Litre).
• Apply diluted product to surface & allow to dry in order to penetrate deep rust & to leave surface in a suitable condition for painting with an oil based primer.
• Drying times are variable & are primarily dependent on temperature.
• Note: PHOSCLEAN requires time to chemically destroy rust & it is not necessary to use expensive rust inhibiting paints.
• Zinc rich paints are not recommended.
• PHOSCLEAN like all preventative measures will slow but not stop rust from re-occurring.
• Treated surfaces left uncoated may experience further rusting or flashing so it is important to paint surfaces soon after surface is ready for painting.

SURFACE RUST, BORE STAIN & TARNISHING

• Dilute PHOSCLEAN 1:4 with warn potable water to make standard solution (250mls per Litre).
• Simply submerge the rusty parts, leave for a few minutes & then check until satisfactory.
• Wipe or wash off on completion.
• As it is not always possible to soak surfaces in a bath apply diluted PHOSCLEAN to surface with a damp cloth, sponge or fine steel wool & keep wet.
• Once applied allow time to penetrate & work on surface.
• If surface is porous, prone to runoff or is alkaline (concrete or limestone) a recoat will almost certainly be necessary.
• TIP: Remember surfaces took a long time to scale, rust or encrust & the process to remove this also takes time.

STAIN REMOVING & GENERAL CLEANING

• Dilute up to 1:10 with warm water, however a dilution of 1:4 is recommended for most applications.
• Apply diluted PHOSCLEAN & allow a few minutes to work & then wipe or hose off.
• Do not allow to dry.
• Deeply encrusted stains may need further applications & some slight agitation with a brush or light sourer to promote penetration.
• Remember to keep the surface wet with product & do not allow to dry as process will halt.
• TIP: Always pre test an inconspicuous test area before tackling your job.

CIP CLEANING

• Pre wash using AQIS Alkaline Detergent such as AC222 or Hercules then flush.
• Then use PHOSCLEAN at a dilution to suit your requiremts (from neat to 1:100).
• TIP: Always allow up to 5 minutes of contact time to dissolve scale & precipitates.
• Always rinse food contact surfaces with potable water after use.
• Always pH adjust waste water to pH 7 with sodium hydroxide before release/ disposal.

Health authorities recommend that to achieve a satisfactory level of sanitation by hot water alone, utensils put through a dishwasher should be in contact with the water at a temperature of 82°C for a minimum of 30 seconds.
