ABLE INOX GEL is fast acting, maximum strength stainless steel pickling gel suitable for passivating and weld cleaning on most grades of Stainless Steel (SS316, SS304 etc.) without the need for a Poisons License. Contains an anti-gassing agent for your added safety. NO LICENCE REQUIRED

Use Recommendations

Use as received and do not dilute or mix with other chemicals. The pickling process should take between 30 to 90 minutes depending on temperature & surface to be treated. Application should ideally be performed indoors in well ventilated area at room temperature. For outdoor work, the stainless steel to be pickled must be shielded from direct sunlight and rain. To use simply apply a thin to medium film with an acid resistant brush (ideally) or with a roller with splash guard (not as safe as brush method because of splatter). Coverage is approximately 120 meters of weld length per 1L or 6m2per litre of gel. Once applied the pickling gel will usually work within 60 – 240 minutes. The pickling time varies according to the prevailing temperature, type of steel and weld. Many boilermakers apply and leave over night to work. Only apply the pickling gel to surfaces that are free of oil or other contamination and if working temperature is between +3 to +40ºC (product can “gas off” in high temperatures, conversely in low temperature the chemical reaction can be slowed or stopped). Once the product has worked the surface should be triple rinsed using copious amounts of high pressure water.

HOOK OIL SOLVENT is a low residue lubricant with corrosion inhibitor for premium asset rust protection & ease of cleaning. Used in the meat processing industry for corrosion prevention on hooks gambrels, following the cleaning cycle. Low aromatic carbon content so formulation is non-flammable.

Use Recommendations

Use as received. Dip dry hooks and gambrels into product and remove. Allow articles to drain before reuse. Use as per technical advice specific to industry only.

Sanvert – Rust Converter & Passivator

SANVERT is clear mobile liquid which when applied to rust or bore stains removes the rust and leaves a protective coating when rinsed off with fresh water (inhibited).

Use Recommendations

SANVERT can be used for the removal of rust stains on fishing boats, ships, platforms, trailers, marine equipment, blending and mixing tanks, metal tools etc.

SANVERT can also be used as a porcelain and tile cleaner to remove hard water scales.

Spray neat directly onto affected areas. Apply with brush to more severely affected areas. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash off with pressure hose. SANVERT will quickly remove surface rust stains and convert the residual rust into a protective phosphate coating. Once the surface is dry, a primer and/or overcoat/s can be applied if required.

SOLIGUARD is corrosion prevention and lubrication used in the food industry for on hooks & roller and machinery following the cleaning cycle.

Use Recommendations

Use & Dilution Recommendations:

ABATTOIRS – HOOKS & ROLLERS:

Use in last soak tank of the Hook cleaning process. Use neat in ambient bath or diluted to 10% to 20% solution in heated and pH-controlled bath according to your lubrication requirements or Technical Advice. Immerse clean hooks & rollers for 30 seconds, agitate and remove from dip tank & allow articles to drain & dry before reuse.

WORKSHOPS:

Use neat or diluted at ~20% with potable water on parts after degreasing & cleaning. Apply via spray, dip or swab method. Allow parts to drain & air-dry before handling, packing or storage. Rust-free storage for not less than 90 days under typical conditions.

LUBE OIL – Dilute 2 parts SOLIGUARD with 1-part HOT Water and mix well at high speed. Then add 1-part Cold water and mix well. Use as received and as required.
