Comet – Foaming Cleaner Sanitiser

COMET is an AQIS compliant chlorine-based liquid detergent/sanitiser formulated for use in food and beverage processing areas, live stock abattoirs, refrigeration containers and rooms, kitchens, toilets, shower recesses and laundries.

Use Recommendations

REFRIGERATION CONTAINERS:

Use from 1 part product to 20 parts water or as required dilution rates to remove different types of mineral and animal based soils.

KITCHENS:

For tables, cutting boards, bench-tops, tiled and stone floors, wash with COMET at 1:50 dilution. Leave for 5 – 10 minutes then rinse.

BATHROOMS:

COMET may be used to clean mould, soap scum, etc. from shower recesses and surrounding areas. Apply at 1:20 dilutions to the surface, leave for 5 minutes then rinse clean, using a brush if necessary. Ensure adequate ventilation in confined areas.

ALGAE AND SLIME REMOVAL:

For removing algae and mould from concrete, mortar and roof tiles, use 1 part COMET per 20 parts of water. Apply liberally to the surface and leave for at least 30 minutes. Brush off dead algae and hose with water.

LAUNDRY:

For bleaching, white clothes, immerse in a 1:500 solution of COMET (2ml per litre). Soak for 2 – 3 hours or overnight, then rinse then wash. For baby nappies, remove soils matter and soak for 2 hours in COMET at 1:100 dilutions. Rinse, then wash.

Liquid Bleach 4% Lemon

LIQUID BLEACH 4% Lemon is a lemon scented chlorinated cleaning, sanitizing and de-staining compound. The product removes stains, whitens clothes, kills bacteria and de-odourises.

Use Recommendations

BATH / WASH ROOMS

To remove stubborn stains, disinfect and deodorize the bath, basin, shower recess, tiles, grouting, toilet seats and cistern. Use 20mls of product per litre of wash water.

FOOD PREPARATION AREAS

Not recommended for food prep areas.

LAUNDRY

Excellent for whitening the whites (no colours) and disinfecting the washing and washing machine.

GENERAL PURPOSE LIQUID BLEACH

Has many other application benefits. Ideal for tiled floors, bins and refuge locations.

LIQUID BLEACH has a place on all ships, support vessels, rigs, port facilities and accommodation establishments. It has a multitude of applications in the marine industry but must be treated with caution given that it is a chlorine releasing compound. NEVER MIX this product or any other sodium hypochlorite product with other chemicals as hazardous and toxic gases may be produced.

MOSS MOULD & ALGAE REMOVER is a bleach free highly efficient indoor or outdoor moss, mould, lichen and algae remover. It also contains a growth inhibitor to stop the growth of spores and stops premature growth of any unwanted biological growth matter. It is safe to use on most surfaces. This product contains anti-bacterial and anti-fungal compounds which are effective across a broad spectrum of bacteria and fungi.

Use Recommendations

The product is ideal for use on brickwork, canvas, concrete, patios, limestone, timber, Colorbond, roofs, tennis courts, caravans, campervans, bins, synthetic bowling greens, synthetic grass, green houses and cold-rooms.

Dilution Rates: Dilute 1 Part of MOSS MOULD & ALGAE REMOVER to 5 parts of Water.

Coverage: 1 x 5L bottle of MOSS MOULD & ALGAE REMOVER is adequate for 100m2 of the area when diluted with 25L of water.

Life: This product when stored as directed has a 20 year shelf life in its concentrated form.

How to use:

To enable maximum penetration and best results ensure the area is free from fallen leaves, dirt and other debris.
The concentrated product can be diluted in to a garden sprayer for best coverage.
Dilute the product as per label instructions or use and dilution rates as per the description of the SDS.
Spray the affected area until it gets saturated and allow to dry. Don’t add water to wash off.
Apply during overcast, dry conditions to avoid excessive evaporation. Avoid application if rain is expected within the day of application for the best results. The dry condition enables MOSS MOULD & ALGAE REMOVER to wet the entire surface properly and penetrate easily to the surface.
Keep children and pets away from the application area until the surface is completely dry.
Drying times are temperature dependent and usually it takes 1-3 hours depending on weather condition.
If the surface is badly contaminated apply a second application one month after the first application.

Reaction Time:

ALGAE growth will disappear after a few days.
MOSS will become brown first after a few days and other light growth will decompose in few weeks.
BLACK MOULD will disappear within 4-6 months, if the area is heavily contaminated it takes 6-12 months.
LICHEN requires two applications with 15 minutes – lichen will disappear after 8-12.
It is usual for an area to turn Orange or Brown colour after an application. This discoloration is temporary and indicates a good result.
