Includes a 30ml test kit.

Use Recommendations

Ensure the pH is measured of water prior to treatment. Dissolve the required amount of Able Boresafe in a bucket of water. Every 1 Kg of Boresafe required 10 Ltr of water. Divert the discharge of the bore pipework back down the bore to recirculate the system. This has to be done within the specifications of the pump. Pour the dissolved Boresafe down the bore while the system is recirculating. Let the system to recirculate for 6-8 hours and water will change to green colour. Flush the system by moving away the discharge from Bore..

BORE STAIN BEGONE is a new and improved powerful liquid formula designed to clean bore stains from most surfaces such as masonry, brick works, vehicles and bore pumps. Also an excellent cleaner of vanadium stains on brickwork.

Due to its high level of concentrated acids BORE STAIN BEGONE is rated as a Dangerous Good, and should be used with caution, but also confidence that it will remove even the most stubborn bore and rust stains.

Bore Stain Begone is a Heavy Duty product generally used by commercial cleaners for removing the most stubborn stains. It also make an excellent Tile & Grout cleaner, removes rust, scale and calcium deposits too!
For a safer product to remove new or weaker stains we recommend: BORE STAIN REMOVER

Use Recommendations

Bore stain removal & cleaning purposes.

Removing Bore Stains from Bricks, Concrete or Masonry:

Thoroughly wet the surface to be cleaned with copious amounts of water.

This is important so the product is not sucked into the bricks or masonry which not only wastes product but may emerge later and stain the wall with white acid burn.

Once the surface is soaked and does not absorb any more water, dilute 1 part product with 5 parts of water to prepare a diluted solution.

Swab or spray the diluted solution onto the surface working from the bottom upwards.

Ensure the surface is uniformly covered as uneven application may produce streaks.

Keep the surface wet with the product & allow at least 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on the level of contamination to work.

If surface starts to become dry apply another coat.

The product works via a chemical reaction and the surface to be kept wet with product.

Once the bore stain has disappeared flush surface with copious amounts fresh water.

For peace of mind and to avoid possible acid burn consider applying 10% Sodium Bicarbonate solution or NEUTRA BRICK afterwards to neutralize the product.

Vanadium stains on brickwork:

Green to greenie – yellow Vanadium staining mainly occurs due as natural phenomenon of the raw materials in the bricks and is exacerbated by lower kiln temperatures.
Sometime Vanadium stains occur due to incorrect brick cleaning with incorrect or inappropriate brick cleaning acids and neutralizer.

Wet brick thoroughly with garden hose.

Dilute Bores Stain begone from neat to 1:5 depending on severity. Apply a liberal and even coating and allow 5-10 minutes to work.

Agitate with a stiff broom if the Vanadium deposits are thick, and reapply chemical as necessary to keep the stain wet.

Rinse off well, then rinse again. Finally apply Neutra Brick to help prevent acid burning.

Rusted Items:

Dilute 1 part product with up to 5 parts water.

Apply with sprayer or submerge parts into the solution.

Allow 30 minutes to 8 hours to work.

Check item/s periodical and once rust has been dissolved thoroughly wash the product from the cleaned item.

Items to Avoid:

Not typically recommended on Glass, as the strong acids may etch.

Avoid using on galvanized steel.

Avoid using on colorbond window frames, fences etc. A short amount of contact is normally fine (unless in poor condition) but always rinse thoroughly with water.

OXALIC ACID POWDER is a colourless crystalline solid that forms a colourless solution in water and is used for a variety of cleaning applications.

Use Recommendations

OXALIC ACID POWDER Cleans new and old timber prior to oiling, staining and painting, when a solution of 1 part Oxalic is added to 10 parts water and applied for 20 minutes then washed of with water.

OXALIC ACID POWDER has some success at removing both bore stains and rust however a purpose made product is nearly always better. To remove bore stains & rust make a solution of 1 part Oxalic to 10 with water and apply. Keep wet for 10 -20 minutes with solution and then wash clean with copious amount of water.
