Use Recommendations

Alkaline Cleaning Powder

ALKALINE CLEANING POWDER is an off-white powder with a pine odour and is formulated to remove paint, carbon, oils, grease and other obstinate soils from copper and ferrous metal. Use via soak tank method.

Use Recommendations

ALKALINE CLEANING POWDER should be mixed slowly into cold water. Agitate to make sure all product is thoroughly dissolved. The bath should be constructed of mild steel and have a drain at the bottom of the tank to make dislodging and draining easier. Alloys and amphoteric metals cannot be used in this bath as they will react and seriously impair the solution performance. ALKALINE CLEANING POWDER should be used at 100gms per litre of water at 80°C if possible. Parts should be immersed the solution and agitated if an agitator is fitted to the bath. Parts should be rinsed with water to flush away residual product after removing from the bath. Use 100 to 200gms of the product to a litre of water if a cold and still bath is necessary. NOTE: Plan the bath to completely immerse the parts that need cleaning. The bath can be used repeatedly until it is completely attenuated.

PHOSCLEAN DETERGENT is a commercial use, heavy-duty solution of phosphoric acid plus low foaming surfactants. It is commonly used to cut residue, fallout and buildup from beer-lines, tanks, vats and equipment in to solution for efficient removal. Further, it is specially designed to remove rust stains from paint, fiberglass, metal and most plastics.

Use Recommendations

PHOSCLEAN DETERGENT is very versatile & can be used in spray, circulation, soak, brush or hand wipe applications to remove hard water scales like calcium & carbonates if used on a regular basis.

SITUATIONS TO AVOID IN USE

Avoid contact with Sodium Hypochlorite solutions (bleach), colorbond, anti-fouling paint, marble, anodised or galvanised surfaces & aluminium. Always pre test an inconspicuous test area before tackling your job.

Power Plus Powder – Detergent

POWER PLUS is a concentrated medium duty detergent powder for the removal of grease, fat and heavy soils from floors, walls, ovens, cook tops, filters, combi ovens, equipment & drains. This product is moderately safe on aluminium.

Use Recommendations

NORMAL CLEANING operations, scrub with a solution of 6-12 gms of POWER PLUS per litre of warm to hot water. Rinse with clean water.

HEAVILY SOILED FLOORS & COOK TOPS wet the surface and sprinkle POWER PLUS over it. Work product to dissolve and allow to soak for several minutes, then agitate and rinses off.

SOAK BATH CLEANING:-

Usage depends on level of soilage – These amounts may be varied under your own trials depending on the type of material, amount of soilage and soakage time (increasing dosage will reduce soak time).

– For ALUMINUM materials use at a rate of 5-10 grams per 1 litre of HOT water.

– For FERROUS OR HARD METALS use at a rate of 10-20 grams per 1 litre of HOT water.

NOTE: A too high dosage may stain soft metals & aluminum materials, so always do a trial to ensure compatibility.

UNBLOCK or CLEAN DRAINS pre-dissolve at a rate of 1 kg in 5 litres of hot water then dispense down the drains.

COMBI OVEN cleaning use approximately 1/3 of a cup or 3-5 grams per litre of water in machine at start of cleaning cycle.

RUST EVAPORATOR is a NON HAZARDOUS rust removing and preventing concentrate used for descaling and oxide & rust removal from most ferrous and steel items. For use in a soak bath situation.

Use Recommendations

Use with confidence as a non hazardous and effective treatment to descale boilers, heat exchanges and to clean and rusty but valuable items such as car parts, tools and equipment.

The non dangerous liquid is not normally subject to any special disposal considerations and is generally safe on surfaces include aluminum, iron, steel, brass, copper, plastic, rubber, chrome, or oxide free paint.

Use this product via Soak Method to remove rust from items. Simply prepare a solution of the product with water and immerse or fill item with liquid until the item is free of rust and debris. Once the item is clean allow it to air dry to form a protective coating that greatly reduces oxidization. This product is generally safe for use on most parts and equipment that are not harmed by water alone. Generally safe surfaces include aluminum, iron, steel, brass, copper, plastic, rubber, chrome, or oxide free paint.

Soak Bath Solutions – 1 part product to 7 parts water.
Radiator & Exchange Flush 1 part to 7 parts water.

Tips

Tip: 1 – This product can be reused; when the soak bath solutions activity reduces simply add more concentrate.
Tip: 2 – Warm water produces faster results than cold water; very cold will stop the product from working entirely.

Solvent Decarboniser

SOLVENT DECARBONISER – AC635 is a yellow mobile liquid consisting of two phases with a thin top aqueous phase and a bottom solvent phase for soak bath cleaning. Also known in the industry as “Di phase decarbonsing liquid” or “Di-phase Fluid” this product is a cold immersion dip cleaner. It is ideal for use to decarbonise carburettors, automotive engine parts, disel injection nozzles, hydraulic parts, gears and much more where they can be readily left immersed in a solvent bath. AC635 is formulated to remove carbon, resin, paint, varnish, oils and grease from ferrous metals and alloys. Aluminium, Zinc and other such amphoteric metals are not affected by AC635 use.

Use Recommendations

AC635 is tipped directly into a suitable metal container without any dilution to act as a bath. The size of the bath is dependent on the number and the size of the parts to be cleaned. Parts must be totally immersed in the AC635 bath. The bath should not be agitated and be positioned in a cool well ventilated area. It is recommended that the parts be pre-cleaned before introducing them into the bath. They should be left soaking until the soils become loosen. The parts are then removed and hosed down with water. Cost effective as the AC635 bath can be used repeatedly until it shows obvious signs of lack of stripping ability.
