Acrysol ASE-60

ACRYSOL ASE-60 by DOW is an APEO-free*, solvent-free* acid-containing, alkali-soluble emulsion (ASE) thickener for paint and latex coatings. When neutralized with a base such as sodium hydroxide or TEA, this product effectively increases low-shear (Brookfield) viscosity to deliver coatings with highly shear-thinning characteristics. This product is delivered as a high-solids liquid for ease of handling in manufacturing.
