CATER FUEL is a heating gel for use in bain maries and food warmers. The firelighter and food warming gel is an odourless and smokeless product that can also be used in barbecues, fondues, campfires, and food trolleys. It is ideal for refilling heating canisters to save you money.
CATER FUEL when used as a warming or slow cooking source should be placed in an open vessel or tin (usually supplied with bain marie) directly under food pan, bain marie etc. Ignite the product using a match or lighter and leave till finished or extinguish by cutting off oxygen source (smother with lid or plate). If using CATER FUEL in bulk form always ensure that the lid is secured firmly when not in use to prevent evaporation.
