Ablefrost HD

ABLEFROST HD is an inhibited Propylene glycol-based heat transfer fluid. ABLEFROST HD is a formulation of 96% propylene glycol and a specially designed corrosion inhibitor package. The fluid is dyed pink to aid in leak detection. Solutions in water provide freeze protection to below -50°C (-60°F) and burst protection to below -73°C (-100°F).

Use Recommendations

ABLEFROST HD is recommended to use in the temperature range -45°C (-50°F) to 160°C (325°F).

ABLEFROST HD is suitable in the single fluid process heating and cooling, closed loop, water-based HVAC applications where propylene glycol containing fluids are required or recommended such as food processing establishments.

ABLEFROST HD is ideal for the following applications:

• Food and drink processing – abattoirs, breweries, drinks, general food
• Pharmaceutical
• Ai data and computing centres
• Geothermal exchange applications
• Industrial applications where Propylene Glycol is preferred
