Sodium Silicate (commonly known as “water glass” or “liquid glass”) is a concentrated, water-soluble alkaline liquid used in a broad range of industrial and manufacturing processes. Its binding, alkaline and corrosion-inhibiting properties make it suitable for specialised formulations and controlled dosing applications.
Application suitability depends on the required silicate grade, concentration and process conditions. Sodium Silicate is a corrosive Class 8 Dangerous Goods product and must be handled in accordance with the Safety Data Sheet.
