Includes a 30ml test kit.

Use Recommendations

Ensure the pH is measured of water prior to treatment. Dissolve the required amount of Able Boresafe in a bucket of water. Every 1 Kg of Boresafe required 10 Ltr of water. Divert the discharge of the bore pipework back down the bore to recirculate the system. This has to be done within the specifications of the pump. Pour the dissolved Boresafe down the bore while the system is recirculating. Let the system to recirculate for 6-8 hours and water will change to green colour. Flush the system by moving away the discharge from Bore..

BORE STAIN BEGONE is a new and improved powerful liquid formula designed to clean bore stains from most surfaces such as masonry, brick works, vehicles and bore pumps. Also an excellent cleaner of vanadium stains on brickwork.

Due to its high level of concentrated acids BORE STAIN BEGONE is rated as a Dangerous Good, and should be used with caution, but also confidence that it will remove even the most stubborn bore and rust stains.

Bore Stain Begone is a Heavy Duty product generally used by commercial cleaners for removing the most stubborn stains. It also make an excellent Tile & Grout cleaner, removes rust, scale and calcium deposits too!
For a safer product to remove new or weaker stains we recommend: BORE STAIN REMOVER

Use Recommendations

Bore stain removal & cleaning purposes.

Removing Bore Stains from Bricks, Concrete or Masonry:

Thoroughly wet the surface to be cleaned with copious amounts of water.

This is important so the product is not sucked into the bricks or masonry which not only wastes product but may emerge later and stain the wall with white acid burn.

Once the surface is soaked and does not absorb any more water, dilute 1 part product with 5 parts of water to prepare a diluted solution.

Swab or spray the diluted solution onto the surface working from the bottom upwards.

Ensure the surface is uniformly covered as uneven application may produce streaks.

Keep the surface wet with the product & allow at least 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on the level of contamination to work.

If surface starts to become dry apply another coat.

The product works via a chemical reaction and the surface to be kept wet with product.

Once the bore stain has disappeared flush surface with copious amounts fresh water.

For peace of mind and to avoid possible acid burn consider applying 10% Sodium Bicarbonate solution or NEUTRA BRICK afterwards to neutralize the product.

Vanadium stains on brickwork:

Green to greenie – yellow Vanadium staining mainly occurs due as natural phenomenon of the raw materials in the bricks and is exacerbated by lower kiln temperatures.
Sometime Vanadium stains occur due to incorrect brick cleaning with incorrect or inappropriate brick cleaning acids and neutralizer.

Wet brick thoroughly with garden hose.

Dilute Bores Stain begone from neat to 1:5 depending on severity. Apply a liberal and even coating and allow 5-10 minutes to work.

Agitate with a stiff broom if the Vanadium deposits are thick, and reapply chemical as necessary to keep the stain wet.

Rinse off well, then rinse again. Finally apply Neutra Brick to help prevent acid burning.

Rusted Items:

Dilute 1 part product with up to 5 parts water.

Apply with sprayer or submerge parts into the solution.

Allow 30 minutes to 8 hours to work.

Check item/s periodical and once rust has been dissolved thoroughly wash the product from the cleaned item.

Items to Avoid:

Not typically recommended on Glass, as the strong acids may etch.

Avoid using on galvanized steel.

Avoid using on colorbond window frames, fences etc. A short amount of contact is normally fine (unless in poor condition) but always rinse thoroughly with water.

PHOSCLEAN is an AQIS compliant CIP acid cleaner specifically designed for the removal of scale, rust & precipitates from lines and equipment & tanks in food, beverage & dairy industries.

Use Recommendations

RUST CONVERSION (Metal Priming & Preparation)

Remove oil, grease & loose scale with a free rinsing water based alkaline degreaser such as PREDATOR, TRIPLE 2 or MULTISAFE.

If necessary strip paint with paint stripper.

Once surface is paint & free of loose scale dilute PHOSCLEAN 1:3 with potable water to make standard solution (330mls per Litre).

Apply diluted product to surface & allow to dry in order to penetrate deep rust & to leave surface in a suitable condition for painting with an oil based primer.

Drying times are variable & are primarily dependent on temperature.

Note: PHOSCLEAN requires time to chemically destroy rust & it is not necessary to use expensive rust inhibiting paints.

Zinc rich paints are not recommended.

PHOSCLEAN like all preventative measures will slow but not stop rust from re-occurring.

Treated surfaces left uncoated may experience further rusting or flashing so it is important to paint surfaces soon after surface is ready for painting.

SURFACE RUST, BORE STAIN & TARNISHING

Dilute PHOSCLEAN 1:4 with warn potable water to make standard solution (250mls per Litre).

Simply submerge the rusty parts, leave for a few minutes & then check until satisfactory.

Wipe or wash off on completion.

As it is not always possible to soak surfaces in a bath apply diluted PHOSCLEAN to surface with a damp cloth, sponge or fine steel wool & keep wet.

Once applied allow time to penetrate & work on surface.

If surface is porous, prone to runoff or is alkaline (concrete or limestone) a recoat will almost certainly be necessary.

TIP: Remember surfaces took a long time to scale, rust or encrust & the process to remove this also takes time.

STAIN REMOVING & GENERAL CLEANING

Dilute up to 1:10 with warm water, however a dilution of 1:4 is recommended for most applications.

Apply diluted PHOSCLEAN & allow a few minutes to work & then wipe or hose off.

Do not allow to dry.

Deeply encrusted stains may need further applications & some slight agitation with a brush or light sourer to promote penetration.

Remember to keep the surface wet with product & do not allow to dry as process will halt.

TIP: Always pre test an inconspicuous test area before tackling your job.

CIP CLEANING

Pre wash using AQIS Alkaline Detergent such as AC222 or Hercules then flush.

Then use PHOSCLEAN at a dilution to suit your requiremts (from neat to 1:100).

TIP: Always allow up to 5 minutes of contact time to dissolve scale & precipitates.

Always rinse food contact surfaces with potable water after use.

Always pH adjust waste water to pH 7 with sodium hydroxide before release/ disposal.

SITUATIONS TO AVOID IN USE

Avoid contact with Sodium Hypochlorite solutions (bleach), colorbond, anti-fouling paint, marble, anodised or galvanised surfaces & aluminium. Always pre test an inconspicuous test area before tackling your job.

Use Recommendations

RED DEVIL may be used neat, or diluted with up to 10 parts of water for removing red dust from vehicle paint work, synthetic floor mats and most hard surfaces.

We recommend a dilution rate of 1 part of Red Devil to 5 parts of water be trialed in an inconspicuous spot; the solution can be diluted further or strengthened according to the extent of the contamination.

Swab surface, working from the bottom upwards and keep wet evenly until clean.

Flush with fresh water. Ensure that the surface is uniformly covered as uneven application may produce streaking.

This product will not normally harm seals or nylon or synthetic carpets but always do a trial or test area in an inconspicuous area first.

Note: Red Devil is the most powerful formula without a license. It is not recommended for use on galvanised, glass or other materials containing silica. Always do a test patch first.

The photo below shows 8 years of bore stain removed with just one coat of Red Devil. Patch on right hand side is from two coats of competing product.

RUST EVAPORATOR is a NON HAZARDOUS rust removing and preventing concentrate used for descaling and oxide & rust removal from most ferrous and steel items. For use in a soak bath situation.

Use Recommendations

Use with confidence as a non hazardous and effective treatment to descale boilers, heat exchanges and to clean and rusty but valuable items such as car parts, tools and equipment.

The non dangerous liquid is not normally subject to any special disposal considerations and is generally safe on surfaces include aluminum, iron, steel, brass, copper, plastic, rubber, chrome, or oxide free paint.

Use this product via Soak Method to remove rust from items. Simply prepare a solution of the product with water and immerse or fill item with liquid until the item is free of rust and debris. Once the item is clean allow it to air dry to form a protective coating that greatly reduces oxidization. This product is generally safe for use on most parts and equipment that are not harmed by water alone. Generally safe surfaces include aluminum, iron, steel, brass, copper, plastic, rubber, chrome, or oxide free paint.

Tips

Tip: 1 – This product can be reused; when the soak bath solutions activity reduces simply add more concentrate.

Tip: 2 – Warm water produces faster results than cold water; very cold will stop the product from working entirely.

Use Recommendations

SANVERT can be used for the removal of rust stains on fishing boats, ships, platforms, trailers, marine equipment, blending and mixing tanks, metal tools etc.

SANVERT can also be used as a porcelain and tile cleaner to remove hard water scales.

Spray neat directly onto affected areas. Apply with brush to more severely affected areas. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash off with pressure hose. SANVERT will quickly remove surface rust stains and convert the residual rust into a protective phosphate coating. Once the surface is dry, a primer and/or overcoat/s can be applied if required.
